Bergen County Latino Leaders Launch Statewide Latino PAC

Bergen County Latino Leaders Launch Statewide Latino PAC

The SOMOS New Jersey Latino Political Action Committee (PAC) was created after the 2020 Census and the 2021 Election results, especially in Bergen County demonstrated that there was a need for a more Latino inclusion both in voting and in all aspects of the political spectrum. There is also a CALL OF ACTION from residents who have stated that they noticed a disconnect and wanted to be more involved but not sure how to become engaged.

SOMOS NJ seeks to inform candidates for state and local governmental offices about public policy issues related to Latino communities. The PAC will actively support and select candidates who are respected, capable and informed on issues of interest for our community.

SOMOS NJ provides financial support and civic engagement to Latinos seeking political office. They will also help to provide a network of professionals who are motivated to assist their constituents who have the greatest needs.
