Bergen County Recognizes POW/MIA Day

(Hackensack) – The third Friday of September is POW/MIA Day, recognizing the U.S. service members who were taken prisoner of war or declared missing in action.  This afternoon, Bergen County held an event recognizing this solemn day. The event featured a keynote address from John Iannarelli, whose father was held captive during World War II, as well as remarks from County Executive Jim Tedesco, County Freeholder Chairman Tom Sullivan, and Fairview Mayor Vincent Bellucci.  Included below are photos of the event.
