Bergenfield Stigma-Free Committee to Hold Mental Health Awareness Event on Sunday, May 16 at 11am at Veterans Memorial Park

BERGENFIELD, NJ — Borough residents are invited to join members of the community and the Bergenfield Stigma-Free Committee for a mental health awareness event this Sunday at 11am at Veterans Memorial Park. All residents are welcome at the event and are encouraged to join.

“Mental health is extremely important and especially after the isolation that we faced as a result of COVID, it is critical that we take it seriously,” said Mayor Amatorio. “We are focused on all aspects of health as we come out of the pandemic, including both our physical and mental health. Please join us for this event where we will have open conversations about such an important topic.”

Attendees can connect with other members of the community and will have an opportunity to win prizes.
