Bergenfield Will Host Drive Thru Flu Shot Clinic for Residents Over the Age of 19 on October 7

BERGENFIELD, N.J. — The Borough of Bergenfield will host a free flu shot clinic for residents over the age of 19 at Memorial Park on Wednesday, October 7 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Anyone interested in attending will be required to complete a consent form before arriving. The flu shot that will be administered is a Quadrivalent, no preservation vaccine that protects against the four most common strands of the fly expected this coming winter.

“As we continue to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, it is imperative that each of us do our part to prevent any additional health outbreak,” said Mayor Arvin Amatorio. “Experts have warned of the pending threat of a ‘twindemic’ during the winter months and are urging everyone to get a flu shot to help prevent another devastating health crisis. This is a service we offer annually to Bergenfield residents, but this year we are making it easier and safer for residents to stay healthy this flu season.”

A copy of the consent form can be found online here.
