“Best Year Yet” is the feedback from 32nd Annual Monmouth County Democrats Chairman’s Ball

“Best Year Yet” is the feedback from 32nd Annual Monmouth County Democrats Chairman’s Ball

Electric. That was the atmosphere as Democrats from across the state poured into Spring Lake on Wednesday night with vaccine cards in-hand for what is being described as the most well-attended, energized Monmouth County Democrats Chairman’s Ball to-date. After a 2020 hiatus to in-person celebration, Monmouth County Democratic Chairman David G. Brown II filled the ballroom of the Shore Club with Democrats ready, willing, and able to bring a blue wave to the sandy shores of Monmouth County.

With just 20 days until Election Day, the animated crowd of nearly 300 people cheered a program headlined by Congressman Frank Pallone, U.S. Senator Cory Booker, Governor Phil Murphy, Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin, and Democratic State Party Vice Chairperson Peg Schaffer. Every speech had a common theme: It’s Monmouth County’s turn.

The central message of the evening was uniting and coming together as a community, which was exemplified by the night’s honorees Asbury Park Dinner Table and Soup Kitchen 411.

The importance of getting out the vote was not lost as Vote By Mail ballots are in hands around the state and early voting starts in just over a week. Each elected reminded the crowd that Democrats statewide are noticing the work put in by the Monmouth County Democrats to flip seats up and down the ballot and across the county.
