Better Choices Activists Join Together to Urge Legislators to Support “Fair and Just” Revenue Raisers In State Budget

TRENTON- Days after the New Jersey Treasury Department and Office of Legislative Services announced in budget hearings that revenue collections fell flat. Advocates from the Better Choices for New Jersey coalition will hold a press conference in support of necessary revenue raisers for the state to meet its existing obligations and invest in priorities. The coalition supports measures that will raise much needed revenue, increase tax fairness, and invest in New Jersey.

The press conference is organized by Better Choices for New Jersey Coalition, a statewide campaign to promote smarter budget choices that benefit New Jersey’s middle and working class. It is convened by the New Jersey Working Families Alliance.
