Booker Announces 2024 Jersey Summer Road Trip

Tour begins tomorrow with stops at Hunterdon, Middlesex, and Somerset Counties

NEWARK, NJ –  Today, U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) announced his 2024 Jersey Summer Road Trip, a series of stops highlighting New Jersey’s 21 counties and his commitment to fighting – and delivering – for the state’s priorities in Washington. Booker’s road trip will focus on his efforts to secure congressionally directed funding for critical projects, address legislative priorities, and support local job creators, businesses, organizations, and communities.

The road trip is scheduled to begin tomorrow, August 8th, with stops in Hunterdon, Middlesex, Somerset, and Burlington counties before continuing over the weekend and into next week.

“For a decade, I’ve had the honor of serving the people of New Jersey in the United States Senate, and I’m excited to hit the road once again to visit all 21 counties across our great state,” said Senator Booker. “Every year, this road trip is about listening to my constituents so I can address their concerns and continue my work to secure the funding and support needed to drive meaningful change in our state. We’re fortunate that in the past three years, we’ve had so much historic investment pouring into New Jersey thanks to the Biden-Harris Administration—from infrastructure to rural development, to veteran health clinics, and more. I look forward to meeting with residents and businesses, highlighting the incredible work happening in our communities, and enjoying how beautiful and mesmerizing New Jersey is.”
