Bramnick applauds end of New York’s Congestion Pricing Scheme
“The reports that United States Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy will be terminating Governor Kathy Hochul’s congestion pricing scheme is welcome news to many of New Jersey’s commuters. Balancing the MTA budget on the backs of hardworking New Jersey residents was always a flawed plan and I thank the Trump administration for recognizing the economic harm it placed on New Jerseyans.
As Governor I will work closely with the administration to secure federal funding to improve New Jersey’s infrastructure including the billions of dollars needed to fix New Jersey Transit so whether a person decides to travel by rail, bus, or car they can count on getting from point A to B.” |
