Bramnick calls for release of lawmakers’ tax returns

WESTFIELD, N.J. – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick seeks transparency after Democrats voted against his amendment Thursday requiring the governor and all state legislators make their tax returns public to qualify for the ballot.

“If transparency is the issue, then let’s have everybody disclose,” said Bramnick (R-Union).    “Legislators, the governor and lieutenant governor should furnish their tax returns so the public can see how much we earn and from what sources.”
