Bramnick: I can’t believe Murphy is raising taxes (again).
TRENTON, N.J. – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick blasted Gov. Phil Murphy, before his address to the Legislature, for seeking to balance his budget with tax hikes a second consecutive year.
“Despite Murphy’s extraordinary-high tax hikes last year, state revenues actually went down,” said Bramnick (R-Union). “The governor’s prediction of nearly $2 billion in revenue was way off. Higher taxes are not the answer.”
