Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick said the NJ Legislature must stay in session this summer to take care of the state’s unaddressed issues.

TRENTON, N.J. – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick blasted Gov. Phil Murphy, before his address to the Legislature, for seeking to balance his budget with tax hikes a second consecutive year.

“Despite Murphy’s extraordinary-high tax hikes last year, state revenues actually went down,” said Bramnick (R-Union).  “The governor’s prediction of nearly $2 billion in revenue was way off.  Higher taxes are not the answer.”
