Today, Senator Jon Bramnick released the following video statement regarding the recent protests at Rutgers University:

“In the last 24 hours, Rutgers University actually negotiated with students who were violating the law. Under no circumstance in this state should we negotiate with lawbreakers,” said Bramnick (R-21). “These student protestors were trespassing. Once they ended their illegal occupation of the campus, then, it would be fine to have some discussions with them. But, we should never negotiate with lawbreakers. It is a major mistake because it encourages others to break the law. I completely disagree with the Rutgers University decision in this case.”
