Bramnick discussing coronavirus strategies with governor and legislative leaders
WESTFIELD, N.J. – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick issued the following statement Sunday:
“I have discussed at length with elected leaders and Governor Murphy’s office concerning the health threat facing our communities and our state.
“I take this situation very seriously and we want to make sure we prepare for the most serious consequences of the virus outbreak. I will be in Trenton tomorrow and will continue to make sure our food delivery system and healthcare environment is more than just prepared, we must be over prepared.
“Infectious disease experts are concerned and therefore all resources should be mobilized.
“I will continue to join with my fellow elected officials to protect our residents.”
Bramnick will be moving legislation at an emergency Assembly session Monday including: requiring insurance carriers to completely cover COVID-19 testing and treatment (A3843), extending business tax fillings during the emergency (A3841), and a $20 million appropriation to sanitize schools (A3839).
