BRICK DEMOCRATIC CLUB PRESIDENT BARBARA ANN REILLY ANNOUNCES ENDORSEMENT OF FORMER 3-TERM NEW YORK CITY MAYOR MICHAEL BLOOMBERG FOR PRESIDENT. I LIKE MIKE!

Brick Club President Barbara Ann Reilly endorses Mike Bloomberg for President. “He is the Candidate that hands down will beat Donald Trump.”

Why I Like Mike?

-Mike WILL take care of Seniors (unlike Trump who wants to cut Social Security by $25 Billion dollars.) Mike Has a Social Security and Retirement Plan that will make sure seniors will not have to decide where their next meal is coming from or lose their homes, or not be able to afford medicine and proper health care. Mike has a plan to assist all Seniors so they will be comfortable in retirement and be able to afford services needed so they do not go hungry or homeless.

-Mike Worked his way through college (I can relate to that I worked 40 hours a week starting when I was 16 years old and worked full time and went to college full time. I paid for it on my own and took out college loans and paid them off myself!

So, I know Mike can relate to me.

-Mike Was laid off in 1981 and then went on to start his own business and he worked hard to become the Success he is today!

-Mike is Self-Made-He did NOT inherit money from Daddy like Trump who had several bankruptcies and stiffed contractors, and some went out of business because of it-and Trump HAS THE HIGHEST National Debt BUDGET IN US HISTORY!

-Mike Created half a million jobs when he was Mayor of NYC

-Mike Expanded health insurance to 700,000 people.

-As Mayor Mike Improved a broken school system and as a public school teacher, I appreciate that!

-Mike Created anti-poverty programs that gained National recognition.

-Mike Banned smoking in public places. He was the pioneer and all states followed his initiative.  As president Mike will make sure Insurance companies cover counseling to make it easier for smokers to quit.

-Mike as President has a plan to reduce drug prices. (Over 60 drug companies raised their prices since Trump became President).

-Mike Will increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

-Mike Will help the farmers and manufacturers who are struggling. (Trump has people believing the economy is so great-yea-for his wealthy friends!).

-Mike has a plan that will bring growth and jobs to your community. Unlike Trump who has been involved in over 3500 lawsuits because he has cheated contractors out of their hard earned money.

-Mike Knows climate change is a major threat and has plans to fight climate change. (Trump is in denial and say Scientists are wrong Even though, 13 different Federal Agencies and 300 Scientists prepared a 1600-page report on Climate Change and President Trumps response was He’s Too Intelligent to Believe the Climate Change Report. Lol

-MIKE WILL KEEP HIS WORD – I have been working since I was 8 years old and I have paid into Pension and Social Security since I have been 16 years old. I should be able to retire in a few years. However, Trump went back on his word. GEE what a surprise!

Trump said he wouldn’t cut Medicaid, Social Security, and Medicare. His 2020 budget cuts all 3. Over the next 10 years, Trump’s 2020 budget proposal aims to spend $1.5 trillion less on Medicaid — instead allocating $1.2 trillion in a block-grant program to states — $25 billion less on Social Security, and $845 billion less on Medicare. So, something you and I have paid into our whole life won’t be there.

-Mike Has donated over $10 billion dollars to charities while Trump fleeced his own charity and put the money into his campaign and had to pay a $2 million dollar fine.

-Mike has been working with businesses and placing thousands of high school students in apprentice jobs to help them succeed in their careers and Mike has a plan to make sure that no one is denied a college education because they can’t afford it. He has a plan for debt loans for low-income students-Unlike Trump who was ordered by the courts to pay a $25 million-dollar settlement to the students he swindled at Trump University.

-Mike believes in early-childhood learning and has a plan to help make hard-working families and their children have better lives. (Not like Trump who wants to cut food stamps and free lunches for children.)

-Mike has a plan on immigration (his grandparents immigrated to this country) Mike will embrace immigrants because he recognizes this country was built by immigrants unlike Trump who separates families and has children in cages where they are begging for food, water and showers.

I want to end this endorsement with 2 statements: 

1. Ever since I said, “Alexa tell me all of Trump’s lies.” She hasn’t shut the hell up in 3 days! AND
2. Please Vote Blue on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. It will be the most important Election of Our Lifetime.
