Bucco Attends Farewell Ceremony for the 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team

On Sunday, Senator Anthony Bucco (R-25) attended the farewell ceremony for the 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) prior to their deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

“Supporting the women and men who selflessly put their lives on the line to defend our nation has always been a top priority of mine,” said Sen. Bucco. “I was honored to attend the ceremony and show my gratitude to those who courageously serve us, and I look forward to continue working together to give our veterans and their families the resources they need for success.”

Approximately 2,000 Brigade Soldiers will be deploying to the Middle East in what will be the largest deployment of New Jersey National Guard personnel since 2008.

The ceremony took take place at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton on Sunday January 14th.
