ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Assemblyman Anthony M. Bucco will receive the Government Champion Award by leaders of ACCSES New Jersey for his work helping people with disabilities gain employment. He will be given the award tonight at the organization’s two-day conference at Bally’s in Atlantic City.
“I am truly humbled to be honored by exceptional organizations and individuals who have all worked so hard to create opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in the workforce,” said Bucco (R-Morris). “People with disabilities have the same drive to achieve the American dream, to be successfully employed and fully participate in life. I’m fully committed to making New Jersey a leader in employing people with disabilities.”
Bucco was nominated by Employment Horizons in Cedar Knolls, which specifically cited Bucco’s helping the organization to participate in the Ability One program at Picatinny Arsenal.
ACCSES New Jersey is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing leadership and support to members who advocate for and serve persons with disabilities through community based programs located throughout New Jersey.
