BUILDING ON PROGRESSIVE MOMENTUM, ARATI FOR CONGRESS CAMPAIGN RELEASES DIGITAL AD “WE DESERVE BETTER”

“Every second our Congressman spends bailing out Wall Street and enabling Trump’s racist agenda is time not spent helping New Jersey’s working families.”

Glen Rock, NJ – On Wednesday morning, the Arati for Congress campaign released its new digital feature We Deserve Better. The video presents a compelling story: North Jersey has come together during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the incumbent Rep. Josh Gottheimer is off trying to bail out Wall Street in the middle of the crisis.

That’s not what working families need to get ahead, and NJ-5 deserves better. As an immigrant who fulfilled her dream of becoming a scientist, Arati Kreibich offers a fresh choice for Democrats who back healthcare for all and bold action on climate change rather than catering to Trump.

“Progressive wins last night demonstrate that America has reached a turning point: the time for change is now. As our nation reels from a once-in-a-lifetime challenge, we need leaders who are willing to step up and fight for working families,” said Dr. Arati Kreibich.

The video launch comes as progressive momentum behind Arati grows nationally. After last night, Arati is the only remaining primary challenger to a Democratic incumbent to have earned Bernie Sanders’ and Ayanna Pressley’s endorsement. The Kreibich campaign announced its best fundraising results yet on Monday, raising over $192,000 for the pre-primary deadline.
