Burlington County Central Labor Council Endorses Allison Eckel for Burlington County Commissioner

As the saying goes, ‘elections have consequences,’ and the Burlington County Central Labor Council endorses Allison Eckel because she will bring her commitment and support for working families to every decision made by the Board of County Commissioners.

In these challenging times, County government can play a critical role in protecting public and workplace health, creating economic opportunity, and ensuring working-class households have the seat at the table that we deserve. The rights of workers to organize, the increasing pressure on wages, and the fight of working people to build the middle class are always on the ballot.  We know Allison Eckel will support our causes and will continue the progress made by the Board of Commissioners.

“I’m extremely honored to receive the endorsement of labor leadership representing thousands of hard-working residents who help keep New Jersey’s economy strong and who serve as the backbone of our local communities,” Eckel said. “I’m also proud of the work done by our Commissioner Board to make sure Burlington County stays an affordable and high quality-of-life destination for all residents and families. Together, we will continue to deliver critical services and make key investments to keep this county moving in the right direction and one of the best places in America to live, work and raise a family.”

Representing over 15,000 union households, the Burlington County Central Labor Council is the voice and the vote of working families in Burlington County. Our affiliated unions represent members in the building trades, public and private sector, industrial and service unions.
