MEDFORD – The Burlington County Young Republicans officially endorsed Bob Healey for Congress in New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District.
“With the upcoming primary and the vital importance of having the right Republican candidates on the ballot this November, we felt it was necessary to make an official endorsement,” Chairman Aiden DeMarsey stated.
The Burlington County Young Republicans urge members and registered republicans voting in Tuesday June 7th’s primary election to support Healey in his bid for Congress.
DeMarsey added “Having the opportunity to get to know Bob Healey not just as a candidate but as a person makes the selection of this endorsement rather evident. Bob Healey will do a phenomenal job working hard for the people of Burlington County in Congress. Just as he did for people in impoverished regions around the world with the Healey International Relief Foundation and through his established Gleneayre Equestrian Program which helps troubled youth get back on track.”
In addition to endorsing Bob Healey for Congress in the 3rd district, the Young Republicans of Burlington County also endorsed Mike Ditzel for County Sheriff and Jeffery Fortune for County Commissioner.
“Mike Ditzel has a proven record of caring about issues that actually impact the people of Burlington County. The ‘Hope One’ program, which he established as the undersheriff, assists residents facing devastating addiction issues. This is just one of Mike’s many passions that demonstrates his genuine care for people,” DeMarsey expressed “Furthermore Jeff Fortune has done wonders for underserved populations all around New Jersey. As the head of a business, Jeff is a heavy employer of folks like former prison inmates among others looking for a second chance in life. He shows people everyday that American dreams are still alive and well and worth fighting for. He has the experience and the passion about his home and the people in it to enact meaningful change for Burlington County and its residents.”
DeMarsey declared “The reality is that at this time our country, state and county is not on the right track for the people. We are facing skyrocketing inflation and economic problems, failed foreign policy, and a strong division between the American people because of a failed bureaucratic government. We need new, passionate leaders ready to work for the people and address these issues we face. We don’t need unprincipled candidates who won’t be able to enact the policies and plans important to the people of the 3rd district. Furthermore, we need to get rid of current incumbents who have managed to get no meaningful legislation passed into law. We are excited to get to work on the campaign trail for Bob, Jeff and Mike in this election.”
