Cahill Joins Lindabury’s Business and Financial Services Group

The law firm of Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C., announced that Kerry Cahill, Esq., has joined the firm’s Business and Financial Services Group. She will concentrate her practice in the areas of corporate, finance, real estate and employment law.

Cahill’s experience spans a broad spectrum of for-profit and non-profit sectors, with a focus on advising clients in the healthcare industry—including facilities, physician practices and life science companies.

Cahill’s experience in mergers and acquisitions includes advising both acquirers and targets on due diligence investigations, restructurings and debt and equity financings. She represents lenders and borrowers in the negotiation of collateralization and financing agreements and has advised on the purchase, sale and leasing of commercial real estate, along with land use, zoning and environmental matters. Additionally, she provides insight on the insurance, licensure, procurement and tax issues associated with her transactional work.

Prior to joining Lindabury, Cahill practiced at another prominent New Jersey law firm, where she focused on transactional matters, administrative proceedings and litigation, primarily involving health law and corporate transactions. In addition to providing counsel on business formation, acquisitions and dissolutions, she has handled residential and multimillion dollar commercial real estate transactions.

Previously, she served as a law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey and became a certified mediator. Additionally, she was appointed by the Superior Court of New Jersey to represent clients in estate proceedings and act as the administrator of the Probate Early Settlement Panel for Warren County.

Cahill currently serves on the Saint Luke’s Warren Hospital Board of Trustees and as president of the Warren County Bar Association. She is a graduate of Rutgers School of Law-Camden, where she earned the Dean’s Pro Bono Publico Award. She has also been recognized by New Jersey Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
