West Long Branch, NJ – Kim Guadagno today secured a fifth county party line after the Camden County Republican Committee unanimously endorsed her campaign for governor.
“As the Camden County Republican Party’s nominee for governor, we know Kim will stand up for lower taxes, more jobs and better priorities in Trenton,” said Rich Ambrosino, chairman of the Camden County Republican Committee. “Kim understands law enforcement issues and what families and businesses go through every day. As governor, she will make Camden County and South Jersey better for everyday working people, not the powerful special interests.”
“I thank Chairman Ambrosino for his leadership in Camden County,” said Lieutenant Governor Guadagno. “South Jersey Republicans need a governor who will have their back and understands New Jersey doesn’t end at I-195. Over the last seven years, I have campaigned with South Jersey Republican candidates up and down the ticket while working to cut red tape and attract jobs like Subaru to the region. In fact, I have been in South Jersey one out of every three days as lieutenant governor.”
Guadagno added, “As governor, I will remain committed to South Jersey – not just show up when it is time to ask for votes – and my record proves it.”
Since launching her campaign on January 17, Guadagno has secured the official Republican Party line in Camden, Hudson, Ocean, Passaic and Warren counties. Over 300 Republican Party officials and local organizations from all 21 counties have also endorsed Guadagno’s campaign, which recently exceeded the $430,000 fundraising threshold to qualify for public matching funds. |
