Cericola to Seek Re-Election as Bergen County Young Republicans Chair
Today, Bergen County Young Republicans Chairwoman, Katie Cericola, announced her bid for a second term as Chair. Cericola, 25, of Waldwick, received nearly 45% of the vote in her bid for Bergen County Freeholder last year, becoming the most successful candidate since 2013. She is a financial professional working for a company in Bergen County.
“Last year was an eye opening experience for me and I look forward to building on that and an even more successful 2020,” said Cericola, “from President Trump to local council, I am ready to help get Republicans elected.”
Joining her on the ticket for Vice-Chair will be Tim Walsh of Ramsey. Walsh is a familiar face in county politics who recently worked for the successful re-election of Assemblywoman Schepisi and Assemblyman Walsh. Rising star attorney, Will Fenwick, who ran for Mayor of Park Ridge in 2019, will run for Treasurer. Chief of Staff to Holly Schepisi, Alyssa Dawson, will run for Secretary. Michael Casey, who served as the Field Director for District 38 last year, will serve as Executive Director.
The Bergen County Young Republicans Annual Re-Organizational Meeting will take place on February 27, 2020 at 7:30pm at Bergen County Republican Headquarters at 339 Main Street in Hackensack.
Light refreshments will be provided courtesy of meeting sponsor Saddle River Mayor Dr. Al Kurpis and former Saddle River Republican Municipal Chairman Jon Kurpis.
