Chairman Currie: NJ Dems Are United and Ready to Win in November

TRENTON, NJ — New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chairman John Currie is releasing the following statement regarding today’s Primary Election:

“The last several weeks of this election have been unlike anything we have ever seen before as Democratic campaigns have been forced to adapt to unprecedented circumstances and challenges due to COVID-19. In spite of that, I’m proud that we have already seen nearly 700,000 Democrats cast their vote by mail, with many more ballots still to be counted and thousands of additional provisional votes as well. Taken together, this impressive turnout is further proof that New Jersey Democrats are fired up and ready to win in November and unite behind our next president Joe Biden, Senator Cory Booker and our outstanding congressional delegation and candidates. We will be ready to defeat Jeff Van Drew and Chris Smith, defend the monumental gains we made in the last election cycle and, most importantly, do our part to end the disastrous presidency of Donald Trump and restore honesty, competence and compassion to the White House.”
