Chairman Zoffinger Releases NJ Economic Advisory Council’s Final Report on COVID-19 Recovery and Reopening
“Our Report Establishes a Very Good Starting Point for NJ’s Strong Road to Recovery”
(New Brunswick) – New Jersey Economic Advisory Council Chairman George Zoffinger today released the Council’s final report with recommendations for the State’s COVID-19 reopening and strong recovery. (Report Attached) Chairman Zoffinger issued the following statement:
“The goal of the New Jersey Economic Advisory Council was to present to Speaker Coughlin and his leadership team recommendations on how to best assist the State in a strong recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The three main areas of importance to the Council were how to aid small businesses as they reopen, preparing for a potential second wave of the coronavirus by including recommendations on PPE availability and a high priority on how the State can assist those most negatively impacted by the economic crisis caused by COVID-19 and the ensuing shutdown of the State.
“The report represents a summary of recommendations that are by no means all encompassing, but we firmly believe they establish a very good starting point for New Jersey’s road to recovery.”
