Chairs Association: New Proposal on County Chairs is More Nanny-State Nitpicking from the Dems!

Today, the NJ Republican Chairs association called on the Democratic majority in the legislature to do something they haven’t done in 22 years of control: make laws that make life in New Jersey better. Instead, the Dems continue to find new ways to annoy everyone in the state. Their latest play? Telling political party organizations who and who cannot be County Chairs.

“For a long time, all the Dems’ rules, taxes, fees and over-regulations have driven lifelong New Jerseyans to less burdened states! Then during the pandemic, the Dems made arbitrary rules that were often no help in treating the virus but in every way interfering in New Jerseyan’s lives. More recently, they want to tell you what kind of car you will drive next and how to heat your home. So, of course it is no surprise that they want to interfere in party leadership elections, especially if it’s our party. If a county organization is unhappy with their leadership, they have a right every couple of years to vote for a change. In this case, we have a long-serving and successful Chairman in Monmouth County who is essentially getting punished for doing a good job.” said the Chairs Association.

The County Chairs concluded that this legislation is further evidence that the Democrats need to be voted out in November and in 2024. “From Joe Biden down to your local Democrat councilperson, Democrats are causing stagnation in our country and state through their over-regulation of everything. And their priorities are always for special interest groups and never for the average person. It would be nice if they focused on lower taxes, economic growth and educational reforms. Their track record shows they will not. If you elect Republicans, we will get rid of the red tape and overzealous rules and allow New Jerseyans to live, prosper and make their own decisions.”
