Chairwoman Peg Schaffer Endorses Zwicker, Freiman, and Drulis for LD16

Somerville, NJ –

– Since Assemblywoman Sadaf Jaffer announced she would not seek re-election to the NJ State Assembly, the Somerset County Democratic Committee has met with and screened many well-qualified and accomplished individuals interested in the assembly seat.

“It is encouraging to see such a depth of talent within the district giving us a strong bench for future county and district elections.” said Somerset County Democratic Chairwoman Peg Schaffer.

Former Tom Malinowski staffer and small business owner Mitchell Drulis was one of the many talented candidates who came before the Somerset County Democrats’ screening committee. After Mitchell’s successful showing at the Hunterdon County and Mercer County nominating conventions, and the endorsement of the Princeton Democratic Organization, Somerset County Democratic Chair Peg Schaffer proudly endorses Senator Andrew Zwicker, Assemblyman Roy Freiman, and Mitchell Drulis for LD 16 in 2023.
