Ciattarelli and Spadea Confirmed for New Legislative SuperPAC Kick-Off

Toms River – Announced Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli and NJ101.5’s Bill Spadea have announced their support for the new Republican SuperPAC being built to take back the New Jersey Legislature in 2023.

The 2021 GOP Gubernatorial nominee and Common Sense Club President have both confirmed they will attend and speak at the September 7th Kickoff Reception for Building a Competitive New Jersey, (BACNJ).

In confirming his appearance, Spadea said he is “looking forward to speaking about our message of unity and Common Sense to your group” and added that he’s “here to help build the new GOP majority in ’23 and make it last!”

Ciattarelli also responded to the invitation immediately and said he would make a contribution to the organization.

The appearance of Ciattarelli and Spadea in Ocean County where Republican candidates can win a massive plurality of the statewide vote is not unlike the appearance of two presidential rivals squaring off at the Iowa State Fair or New Hampshire’s Red Arrow Diner.

BACNJ President Mike Lavery said the support of statewide Republican leaders like Ciattarelli and Spadea at this exciting September event will “send a strong message that our Party is united in pursuit of a legislative majority to stop Phil Murphy’s reckless agenda dead in its tracks and Make New Jersey Competitive Again for taxpayers, families, and businesses.”

Lavery said the event will also give the attendees an opportunity to hear their visions for our Party and our State.

“New Jersey Republicans will be united from early on to take back the legislature.”

Also on the Board of Directors for the new SuperPAC are former GOP State Chairman Doug Steinhardt, labor leader Josh Hertzberg, and conservative movement leader Steve Lonegan.
