Ciattarelli Campaign Requests Investigation on Murphy Campaign Financing

Ciattarelli

TRENTON, NJ – The Ciattarelli campaign today sent a request to New Jersey’s Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) to investigate Murphy for Governor for not paying back debt drawn from public funds incurred by his 2017 election.

“Failing to return the unspent money back to New Jersey taxpayers is illegal and yet another signal Phil Murphy has no regard for the people of our state,” said Eric Arpert, Ciattarelli Campaign Manager. “In no uncertain terms, Phil Murphy broke the law. Jack is calling on ELEC to withhold Murphy’s public financing until he plays by the rules.”
