Ciattarelli Releases Five Years of Income Tax Returns

GOP Gubernatorial candidate fulfills promise on transparency; criticizes Murphy’s peekaboo tax return strategy

Somerville, April 25, 2017- Unlike Democratic gubernatorial candidate Phil Murphy, who limited press access and hid his tax returns from New Jersey taxpayers, Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli, an entrepreneur and Main Street business owner, today made good on his promise to provide complete transparency, posting five years of tax returns on his web site for the press and public to inspect.

“Phil Murphy’s tax return disclosure or lack thereof was an embarrassment. His unwillingness to provide unfettered access to his tax returns makes you wonder what he has to hide,” said Ciattarelli.  “Just as I’ve always provided my investors and clients with a plan, I’ve been very transparent in providing voters with a comprehensive and bold plan to fix our state.  In that same spirit, today I am making good on a promise for complete transparency by providing five years’ tax returns on my web site for anyone to review.”

“As the grandson of immigrants, I have been, with the support of my wife, very fortunate to achieve the American Dream through hard work and sacrifice.  As Governor, my top priority will be confronting and solving the economic and fiscal crises facing our state so that every single citizen has equal opportunity to achieve their American Dream right here in New Jersey,” added Ciattarelli.

The Ciattarelli tax returns can be viewed at www.jack4gov.com by scrolling down the website home page and clicking on the “View Jack’s Tax Returns” button.
