Rise™ Dispensaries, is owned by Green Thumb Industries (Green Thumb), a national cannabis consumer packaged goods company and retailer, promotes well-being through the power of cannabis while giving back to the communities in which it serves. The medical marijuana dispensary, which opened its doors in December 2019, has remained committed to the Paterson community. Rise Paterson focuses on hiring individuals from within the community; a majority of their employees are Patersonians who are given opportunities for advancement once hired. Rise Paterson is currently planning to fill new positions which include cultivating technicians and packaging specialists, with hiring Paterson applicants a priority.
