Civil Service Commission to Highlight Job Opportunities Within Various State Agencies and Departments During Next Slate of Virtual Information Sessions

TRENTON – The New Jersey Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced another series of Virtual Information Sessions to promote careers in State and local government. These sessions will be led by representatives from various state Departments and Agencies. CSC staff will also be available to guide job seekers through the process of applying for State and local jobs. All New Jersey residents are welcome to attend.

These free Virtual Information Sessions are currently scheduled for the following dates:
• Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am: Business, Customer Service and Finance-Related Careers
• Wednesday, June 23, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am: Health-Related Careers
• Wednesday, June 30, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am: Legal and Public Safety-Related Careers
• Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Agriculture-Related Careers
• Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am: Social Sciences and Human Resources-Related Careers

Webster Cobb, Esq., Chair and Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. “Presenting these information sessions and featuring state representatives allows us to be a resource to job seekers while also highlighting the opportunities and benefits of working for the State of New Jersey.”
