Clean Energy Action Now (CLEAN) issues statement on Clean Energy Act vote delay

“We look forward to the Clean Energy Act passing in early 2024. The Clean Energy Act provisions break new ground to reduce harmful pollutants, provide family-sustaining jobs in New Jersey and take advantage of massive federal investments to reduce the cost of clean energy resources. Senate and assembly leaders are taking time to ensure there is very broad support for this landmark legislation that will reduce co-pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions. We expect an early vote in the next legislative session.”
