Edison, NJ–Clean Water Action’s 32nd annual conference will be an action-packed day of environmental speakers, action, and more this Saturday, April 28th at The Wardlaw-Hartidge School in Edison. First Lady Tammy Murphy will give a keynote speech, followed by an environmental Q&A with DEP Deputy Commissioner Debbie Mans. Other notable environmental attendees and speakers include U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone; Elizabeth Juviler, Organizer for NJ 11th For Change; and Amanda Nesheiwat, Environmental Director for the Town of Secaucus.

Clean Water Action’s annual conference brings together concerned residents, environmental groups, students, scientists and policymakers for a one-day conference about the most pressing environmental issues facing New Jersey. Event-goers will learn new skills in a series of environmental workshops on topics ranging from safe drinking water, electric vehicles and green energy to environmental justice, climate resiliency, and safer home products. The conference also includes a Media Workshop & Skills Training hosted by Randy Bergmann, editorial page editor of The Asbury Park Press.

Conference attendees can also peruse almost a dozen Green Vendors including Beautycounter, Clean Water Fund, Citizen’s Climate Lobby, Eco Pool Drain, Isagenix, Shaklee, Sustainable Haus, and The Wardlaw-Hartidge School.
