Commission Continues 21 County One-Stop Tour

The New Jersey Statehouse and Capitol Building In Trenton

TRENTON- In order to promote careers in State and local government, the New Jersey Civil Service Commission (CSC) is scheduled to visit one Department of Labor One-Stop Employment Office in each New Jersey county. Job seekers are encouraged to attend these free presentations, which will be held at various locations. Each presentation will include an hour overview on how to apply for State and local government jobs and resource materials will be provided. Also, CSC representatives will answer any questions pertaining to the application process. Please share this information with your friends and families.

Information sessions are currently slated for the following dates:
• Monday, February 3, 2020 Essex County- East Orange (10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.)
• Monday, February 3, 2020 Morris County- Randolph (1:00 p.m.)
• Friday, February 28, 2020 Sussex County- Newton (10:30 a.m.)
• Friday, March 20, 2020 Camden County- Cherry Hill (10:00 a.m.)
• Friday, March 20, 2020 Burlington County- Westampton (1:00 p.m.)
• Friday, May 15, 2020 Salem County- Salem (11:00 a.m.)
• Friday, May 15, 2020 Gloucester County- Thorofare (2:00 p.m.)

“As we continue our 21 County One-Stop tours, our team has presented in front of hundreds of interested candidates,” said Deirdré L. Webster Cobb, Esq., Chair and Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. “Presenting these information sessions, allows us to provide resources and services throughout the State and highlight that the State of New Jersey is the employer of choice.”

“Our 21 County One-Stop tours are a way for us to inform people about the great opportunities that are available on the state, county and local levels,” said Dr. Charlie Williams, Executive Director of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Programs. “These information sessions allow us to answer questions or concerns job seekers may have about how to apply for state government positions. We have found that it has been a great resource and are excited to continue these throughout the State.”
