COMMITTEE TO BUILD THE ECONOMY RELEASES NEW AD, ‘BACK IN THE WATER’ NOTING GUADAGNO WOULD JUST BE A CHRISTIE THIRD TERM

Roseland – The Committee to Build the Economy (CBE), a New Jersey Super PAC committed to supporting economic development and job creation throughout New Jersey, today released a new ad entitled “Back in the Water.” The ad highlights how Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno and Governor Chris Christie have failed the people of New Jersey over the last eight years on everything from equal pay for women to the state’s economy to properly funding our schools.

“The last eight years in New Jersey may have seemed like a horror movie, but unfortunately, it has been all too real,” said Chris Donnelly, spokesman for the CBE. “At every turn Kim Guadagno has supported and stood by Governor Christie, instead of protecting New Jerseyans from years of underfunding education, equal pay vetoes and shortchanging our state’s economy. The record is clear: Kim Guadagno would just be a Chris Christie third term, and our state cannot afford that.”

“Back in the Water”

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water…

…here comes Christie…

…the sequel!

That’s what Kim Guadagno will be—four more years of the worst movie New Jersey has ever seen.

The critics agree, Christie and Guadagno are:

Terrible for women, vetoing equal pay.

The worst on the economy, overseeing New Jersey’s credit rating lowered 11 times.

Horrific on education. Guadagno stood by as Christie underfunded schools by almost $2 billion.

We don’t need a Chris Christie sequel.

Enough is enough. No third term. No Guadagno.

Substantiation for the ad is attached.

The Committee to Build the Economy was formed to ensure that the shared progressive values of the people of New Jersey are represented in the gubernatorial election. After seven plus years of failed leadership, the CBE will be an advocate to help rebuild New Jersey’s economy by putting the interest of working class New Jersey residents first.
