COMMITTEE TO BUILD THE ECONOMY STATEMENT ON FUNDRAISING EFFORTS

Caldwell – The Committee to Build the Economy (CBE), a New Jersey Super PAC committed to supporting economic development and job creation throughout New Jersey, issued the following statement on its highly successful fundraising efforts:

Clearly, people are fed up with what has happened in New Jersey over the last eight years,” said Chris Donnelly, spokesman for the CBE. “They are looking for a change. They want a governor who will focus on job creation, boosting the economy, properly funding education, and standing up for women by supporting equal pay. New Jerseyans know that with Kim Guadagno, we will not accomplish any of this: we will merely get a Chris Christie third term.

Our fundraising efforts show just how deep that call for change is in our state. We are proud that so many organizations, representing hundreds of thousands of hard working New Jerseyans, are working proactively to make New Jersey the best it can be.

“The Committee to Build the Economy is running a robust, multi-faceted campaign to educate voters on the change New Jersey needs. We will continue this aggressive effort from now to Election Day. The future of our state is at stake, and we cannot allow Kim Guadagno to serve a Chris Christie third term.”

The Committee to Build the Economy was formed to ensure that the shared progressive values of the people of New Jersey are represented in the gubernatorial election. After seven plus years of failed leadership, the CBE will be an advocate to help rebuild New Jersey’s economy by putting the interest of working class New Jersey residents first.
