Congressman Andy Kim Postpones Campaign Kickoff Rally to Focus on Coronavirus Response
MARLTON, NJ – Today, Congressman Andy Kim announced that he will postpone his 2020 campaign kickoff rally scheduled for this Saturday in response to the current state of emergency declared by Governor Murphy caused by the Coronavirus outbreak.
“Right now, people in our community and across this country have real concerns, and I need to make sure I’m working on ensuring the safety of our families and neighbors,” said Kim. “When the time is right, we’ll formally launch our campaign, and show that our grassroots support has only gotten stronger in the last year. But in the meantime, I will remain focused on serving the people of Burlington and Ocean Counties, and working in a bipartisan way with our federal, state and local leaders to put an end to this crisis and help protect those who need it most.”
Kim serves as a member of the House Armed Services Committee and the House Small Business Committee, where he serves as the chairman of the Subcommittee Economic Growth, Tax and Capital Access.
