Congressman Andy Kim Receives Major ‘Gen Z’ Endorsements from both The College Democrats of America and The College Democrats of New Jersey in His Race for U.S. Senate 

MOORESTOWN N.J. –  Today, Congressman Andy Kim has announced the endorsement of both the College Democrats of America (CDA) which is the official national collegiate arm of the DNC, and the College Democrats of New Jersey, the New Jersey state chapter of the CDA. The CDA represents thousands of college students across the United States and territories and aims to organize on college campuses across America to get Democrats elected in local, state, and federal elections. CDA and CDNJ will work hard to mobilize college voters and energize the youth vote across New Jersey to get Congressman Kim elected to the Senate.

College students across our state are ready to fight for a better future, and I’m proud to have them by my side as we work to restore integrity and tackle issues that matter to them like climate change, skyrocketing education costs, and political corruption,” said Congressman Andy Kim.

First elected to Congress in 2018 at the age of 36, three-term Congressman Andy Kim is one of the younger members to serve in Congress and is the first Asian American elected to federal office from New Jersey. If elected to the Senate, Andy would be the 4th youngest Senator and the first Asian American elected to the Senate from the entire east coast of America. In 2018 and 2020, Andy defeated two self-funding millionaires in a district carried by former President Trump, and in 2022 Kim defeated his third self-funding millionaire opponent by 12 points.

In his three terms in Congress, Andy has worked hard to lower costs for New Jersey families and help support small businesses through challenging times. Andy has also been a leading champion in fighting against corruption in our broken politics.
