WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced that he will be attending events in Burlington and Ocean County in addition to his second annual Veterans Day Town Hall to commemorate Veterans Day.

 

“Veterans Day isn’t just about celebrating the contributions of veterans to our country, it’s about lifting up their voices and recognizing the issues they face every day,” said Congressman Kim. “I look forward to hearing from those who sacrificed so much to serve, and hope everyone takes time out on Veterans Day to thank the men and women who keep this country safe.”

 

10:30am – Toms River Veterans Day Celebration

Congressman Kim has been a leading advocate for New Jersey’s veterans, working to hold the VA accountable for their failure to bring a new veterans’ health care facility to Ocean County, and introducing bipartisan legislation to protect veterans from VA errors and help veterans identify employment opportunities during their transition to civilian life.
