Congressman Kim Hosts 65th Town Hall

WILLINGBORO, N.J. – Yesterday, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) hosted his 65th town hall, a telephone town hall, to share updates from his work in Congress and answer neighbors’ questions about issues they care about.

Congressman Kim began by highlighting assistance his office can provide community members who are having issues with federal agencies and his upcoming Resource Fair on August 3rd to bring information from government agencies, nonprofits, and community groups in one place for neighbors. He also discussed his decision to vote against the FY24 NDAA last week due to Republican poison pill amendments, his priority to deliver all servicemembers the benefits they earn and deserve, and his work to support reproductive rights and college affordability in response to the Supreme Court’s most recent decisions.

He also answered questions from callers about restoring trust in government, standing up for servicemembers’ reproductive healthcare access, supporting legislation to help Americans retire with dignity, his work to support servicemembers and their families at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, and his continued efforts to pass gun violence prevention legislation to protect our children and communities.

A full recording of the town hall can be found here.
