Congressman Kim Releases 2023 End of Year Report Highlighting Direct Assistance and Community Accomplishments

WILLINGBORO, N.J. – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) released his 2023 End of Year Report, highlighting the past year of direct assistance, conversations across the community, and legislative work on behalf of New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District.

“I am humbled to be closing out my fifth year serving New Jersey’s 3rd District. I hope this report is informative for people about the work we’ve done, and outlines the priorities my office and I will continue to work on for New Jersey families,” said Congressman Kim. “I am proud of our accomplishments this past year to lower everyday costs, look out for military families, serve our veterans, and to deliver direct assistance to our Burlington, Mercer, and Monmouth communities with new offices and more town halls. Heading into the new year, I am grateful for the continued chance to serve the community that raised me, and I look forward to accomplishing even more in 2024.”

Over the course of 2023, Congressman Kim hosted a town hall every month, totaling 70 since coming to Congress. The town halls across the Burlington, Mercer, and Monmouth Counties are an essential part of the Congressman’s priority to hear directly from communities. Congressman Kim’s casework team was proud to close 4,130 cases for neighbors experiencing issues with federal agencies. This assistance returned $15,001,644 in federal dollars to community members across the district.

In addition to his work in New Jersey, Congressman Kim authored 20 bills this year, helping introduce 340 bills in total. Named Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Military Personnel Subcommittee at the start of the 118th Congress, the Congressman continued his work looking out for servicemembers and military families at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and across the country.
