In a fundraising missive sent out this afternoon, Rep. Andy Kim described anonymous phone calls that were made to voters in NJ's Third Congressional District aimed at casting doubt on Kim's trustworthiness ahead of the 2020 election.

Congressman Kim Statement on Major Disaster Declaration for State of New Jersey

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) released the following statement on the announcement that the Administration has granted a Major Disaster Declaration for the State of New Jersey. The declaration triggers the release of additional federal funds to help New Jersey recover from the Coronavirus pandemic.

“I’m glad to see the Administration listened to our request and we’ll see more help coming our way,” said Congressman Kim. “New Jersey has become one of the focal points of this disaster, and our delegation is going to keep fighting to bring every cent possible here to help our families and small businesses recover from this crisis.”

Earlier this week, Congressman Kim joined the entire New Jersey congressional delegation to support Governor Phil Murphy’s request for a Major Disaster Declaration. Full text of the letter can be downloaded here.
