President Biden’s Address to Congress

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) released the following statement in response to President Biden’s address to a Joint Session of Congress.

“America, and the American people, are capable of amazing things if we hold true to our values and work together to find common cause with common purpose. President Biden reminded us of that tonight. He reminded us that our best days are ahead of us if we invest in the futures of working families and seek to broaden our prosperity to meet the ambition of our opportunity. He reminded us that we can outcompete any country in the world if we hold true to our values of democracy and freedom, and remember that it’s America’s role to lead, not languish. And he reminded us that the challenges of the present are the opportunities of the future, but only if we have the courage to seize them. The time is now to answer the call and meet this moment; I stand ready to work with President Biden and my colleagues from the other side of the aisle to do exactly that.”
