Focused on Lowering Everyday Healthcare Costs
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced he will hold his 71st monthly town hall, his first of 2024, this Friday, January 12th at 6:00 p.m in Hamilton to share updates about his latest work in Congress and hear directly from neighbors. He will also highlight recently implemented savings on prescription drug prices for New Jerseyans and his continued work to reduce everyday healthcare costs.
Congressman Kim helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act to lower everyday healthcare costs for New Jersey families, including through a $35/month cap on insulin and $166/month cap on all prescription drug costs for Seniors on Medicare. At his January town hall, Congressman Kim will be joined by Taryn Krietzman, Registered Dietician Nutritionist, Community Health/Community Education, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (RWJUH Hamilton), to discuss the importance of lowering insulin costs based on her personal and professional experience.
