Congressman Kim to Hold Town Hall During AANHPI Heritage Month
MARLBORO, N.J. – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced he will hold his 63rd monthly town hall on Friday, May 19th at 6:00 p.m in Marlboro to hear from neighbors, share updates from his work in Congress, and celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month.
The town hall will begin with a performance by students from Marlboro’s Huaxia South Chinese School. In recognition of AANHPI Heritage Month, Congressman Kim will speak about his efforts to uplift the AAPI community, including legislative priorities to combat hate and violence, and his continued efforts to honor Asian American history and culture with a national museum in Washington D.C. He will also highlight his most recent work to support small businesses’ access to loans and key programs, ban stock trading across the three branches of government, combat gun violence, and uplift local students’ talent and accomplishments, including through the Congressional Art Competition and Service Academy nominations.
The town hall will be held at The Little Theater (Room C101) at 95 N Main St, Marlboro, NJ 07746. All attendees should use the Main Athletics Entrance.
