Congressman MacArthur’s Statement on H.Res 630

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman MacArthur made the following statement after H.Res 630 passed the House of the Representatives:

As a devoted husband to my wife Debbie, the father of two daughters and a son, and now the Papa to my little granddaughter, I have always strived to set an example of how to treat others and, frankly, how men should respect women.  I don’t care if it’s the private sector, the not-for-profit sector or the public sector – I’ve worked in all three – there is a right and a wrong way to treat people.  I take it seriously and require my associates to take it seriously.  While I support this action in the House, I am proud to have taken this step on my own in 2016 and required all members of my staff—both in D.C. and New Jersey—to take sexual harassment training.
