Congressman Norcross Endorsed by the Sierra Club

CHERRY HILL, NJ – The Sierra Club endorsed Congressman Donald Norcross, a champion for environmental protection.

“I strongly believe we must protect and defend our environment from attack, especially during the Trump Era. Right now, climate change denial is too common and every week there are more rollbacks that threaten public health,” said Congressman Donald Norcross. “I am proud to be endorsed by the Sierra Club, an organization that knows we must preserve our environment for our children and grandchildren, and fights for our planet day in and day out. I will continue to stand with the Sierra Club and against greedy polluters and science deniers.”

As a member of Congress, Donald Norcross is fighting to clean Superfund sites and keep oil rigs away from the Jersey Shore. He has also called for EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt to resign and believes the United States should not have withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord.

“The Sierra Club endorses Congressman Norcross because he is working hard to protect the environment and the health and safety of the people in his district, in our state and around the country,” said Jefff Tittel, Director of the New Jersey Sierra Club. “He fights against climate deniers and for environmental protections. We need more strong advocates like him in Congress.”
