Congressman Sires Sworn-In for the 117^th Congress

(Washington, D.C.) – Today, Congressman Albio Sires (D-NJ) was sworn-in for the 117^th Congress as the Representative for New Jersey’s 8^th Congressional District. 

“As our nation faces unprecedented challenges, I am honored that the people of New Jersey’s 8^th District have elected me to fight for them in the 117^th Congress,” said Rep. Sires. “This honor comes with a critical duty to work on behalf of my constituents and I remain committed to advocating the priorities of our communities and working to deliver the pandemic relief that is so desperately need. I welcome the opportunity to work with Speaker Pelosi and the incoming Biden-Harris Administration to advance policies that seek to move our health care, infrastructure, and economy forward, and heal the divisions that have become so apparent the last four years.”
