Corrado: Murphy Administration Clearly Takes No Accountability Over DOJ Report

Senator Kristin Corrado (R-40) issued the following statement criticizing the Murphy administration for their response to a Department of Justice (DOJ) report that said New Jersey provided constitutionally deficient care to veterans:

“It is abundantly clear based on the response of the Murphy administration that they take no accountability for their ill-managed oversight of State-run veterans homes. This horrendous treatment of our nation’s heroes happened on Governor Murphy’s watch and his administration must be held accountable. The conditions of these homes were abhorrent, and it is completely unacceptable that residents in these homes received inadequate care. It is a travesty that Democrats refused to act when Republicans made these issues apparent during legislative sessions. It is time to do what the Legislature should have done three years ago and hold the Murphy administration accountable.”
