Councilman David Di Gregorio: Letter to the Englewood Cliffs Community

Dear Englewood Cliffs Neighbors,

I hope this message finds you safe and warm after last night’s storm.
On December 9, I was appointed to the Englewood Cliffs Council. It is an honor to have been chosen and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to serve our community in this capacity.

I trust my experience will be useful as councilperson. I hold a master’s degree in education administration, and am currently completing my 25th year at Tenafly High School as an administrator responsible for library, media, science, performing arts, and technology education. I am also a Tenafly Public Library trustee and a member of the Channel 13 Educational Services Advisory Committee.

My first career was in the hospitality industry, working in several capacities in Europe. I am a first generation American – my father was born in Sicily and raised in France, and my mother was born in Germany. Chia-ling and I have lived in Englewood Cliffs since 2001. Our 12 year old son Ian attends the Upper School.
I look forward to working with the mayor and council for the betterment of our community. I welcome communications with all residents and invite your comments and suggestions as we move forward into the new year.

Wishing you good health and happy holidays.
Very truly yours,
David Di Gregorio
