Councilman DeFusco Hails City’s Pilot Agreement with Lime eScooters

Hoboken, NJ –  Councilman Mike DeFusco is praising Hoboken’s new six month pilot agreement with Lime to provide residents with access to the popular for-hire dockless eScooters that have swept into cities across the nation in recent years. DeFusco invited Lime to the city last August for a free Pop Up event held at Pier 13 where residents were given the opportunity to try out the scooters, which run on electricity and create no emissions.

“eScooters and other emerging transportation technologies have the potential to revolutionize how we all get around Hoboken, so I’m very excited to see the city enter into this agreement with Lime,” said Councilman DeFusco. “I look forward to hopping onto a scooter soon on my morning commute to Manhattan, and I hope all Hobokenites take the opportunity to try out this exciting new mode of transportation and let us know what they think.”
